Hi Wendy,

I have my computer on from approx 8-00am to midnight without any problems and Legacy is often loaded for most of this time. I do however make back-ups after each session of using it - just in case your sort of problem hits. Where I live we are also a bit prone to power cuts which perhaps makes me slightly over cautious.

Does it only happen with Legacy as the only thought that comes to mind at the moment (excluding malware) is overheating?

Subject: [LegacyUG] Legacy goes 'blank' at the same time each night.

Hello Legacy listers,

Does anyone else have this unusual problem or can they explain why it may
happen?

I turn my computer on in the morning. I usually work on it throughout the day
and switch it off about midnight.

Legacy would be opened at some point during the day and I will do some research.
However around 11.30pm to shutting down the computer Legacy throws a wobbler and
any notes in any individual I am looking at have all disappeared and gone blank
and the program freezes. Even when I switch to another person I have the same
thing ... Blank notes. Also other information sometimes disappears too.

I then have to just shut it down without a back up, as it may be corrupted with
'no notes'
I am an experienced computer user, and my computer is well maintained with all
the usual security features and energy saving settings.

Thanks Wendy
WALLASEY, Wirral.
