The simple answer is no. You can select groups of people and move them to
make space and you can certainly import new individuals or complete family
lines and attach them where you want. But imagine what that means say in my
tree where some siblings might be a couple of feet apart in real space -
juggling this becomes really awkward and links are not maintained ie
connecting lines are moved or left behind as objects.
I would not let this put you off though - once you get used to how TreeDraw
works that is how you use it - I no longer use special colours, additional
notes etc. because these will be lost with a major import following several
new entries in Legacy.
If I recall my original question it was about how automatic updates can be
achieved - I freely admit I may have missed something but have been a long
time user.

around)? Then can't you import just the new person and connect them manually
where they belong?
