The simple answer is no. You can select groups of people and move them to make space and you can certainly import new individuals or complete family lines and attach them where you want. But imagine what that means say in my tree where some siblings might be a couple of feet apart in real space - juggling this becomes really awkward and links are not maintained ie connecting lines are moved or left behind as objects. I would not let this put you off though - once you get used to how TreeDraw works that is how you use it - I no longer use special colours, additional notes etc. because these will be lost with a major import following several new entries in Legacy. If I recall my original question it was about how automatic updates can be achieved - I freely admit I may have missed something but have been a long time user. Graham
-----Original Message----- Hi Graham: I don't use TreeDraw, but... Won't TreeDraw let you make room for the new person (by dragging boxes around)? Then can't you import just the new person and connect them manually where they belong? Just asking because I am considering the product. -- Dennis M.
