Ros, thanks for responding, but my file is 99.99% USA. I have a couple of Irelands and one Congo birth location for a child of a missionary family. Anybody interested in my file would certainly know what "WV" stands for. If you ever decide to do USA genealogy, get a list of the OFFICIAL U.S. Postal Service state initials. I worked three decades for a major publishing company and we used the two-letter state codes all the time.
