In 1958, I was a wet behind the ears new mother and named my daughter Virginia [ after his mom] Edith [after my mom] and also wanted to call her GINGER after the girlfriend of a character on "BACHELOR FATHER" , When Ginger got married, her smarty pants husband did not like her being called Ginger, and so called her VE for a very long time, One day, in a conversation with Ginger over this very subject, I asked her who she was Virginia or Ginger, she said Ginger and so it is to this day. The Virginia was put before the Edith because I figured that I could get away with Ginger being a nick name for Virginia.and so now I will change her entry to "goes by Ginger." Thank you again LEGACY Bobby the husband, BOBBY? & Ginger had a second daughter named Amanda and because I dislike that song so much I feared they would call her Mandy, so the first time that I held her I said " Why Miss Amanda, I do declare you to be beautiful," It stuck and her mother says Amanda hates being called Mandy the Yankees win again FINAL NOTE: If I had been more in the know, the name GINGER would have been on that birth certificate Ginger Edith Virginia FINAL FINAL NOTE: All my life a lot of people have called me SANDY, at work I would answer the phone, "This is Sandra," how can I help you?" Today. In my youth I wrote my name as Sandie, but one day I decided that the folks named me SANDRA an so that is who I am
