Event notes has a very large capacity and I have never had a problem
with it accepting very substantial biographies, etc. You are probably
using the sentence override field and it does indeed have a small
capacity.

Military Service to Our Nation:
I have uncovered relatives that have been in ever war our nation has
been in except the Spanish American war. What I have done is used
the General notes to write about their contribution and military
records. Because there is an unlimited characters in General Notes so
you can write a ream about your ancestor. Events has a limit of 1500
or 200 characters; very limiting! I have 2 in the Revolutionary War
1 in the War of 1812, 3 in the Civil War, 2 in WW I 6 in WW II 3 in
the Korean War and myself in Vietnam. When I write the family
history book there will be a chapter just on the military men & women
in the Service. The only way right now that I could do it is by cut
and paste today. Maybe some time down the future with Legacy there
might be a way to applying a list by tagging the events of all the
military records.
I definitely support Kay in the idea of honoring any familiy member
in a military chapter of a book or in a web page. But I really
believe its beyond the scope of Legacy to provide the layout in its
program.
