I read the messages about sourcing, I go through the video and if I don't enter data often, I lose it all.
It would be good to be able to add a link to a master + detail. I can see the power and helpfulness of master + detail but it also is the main source of confusion for me. What detail records are attached to a master source? How many? Can I go into the master source list, click something and see all of the detail records? Can I tell what is attached to whom when I am in individual view? So much is unseen, it is confusing for me. How can I tell what is attached to whom without creating a report to look at it? BL or Before Legacy, I listed sources, gave them a unique letter and number, then wrote that letter and number on family group sheets and any other place I needed to source information. It took far less time which made it easier and encouraged me to attach sources to pieces of information and people. Now I am not sure what sources I have attached to whom. Some of you have this so straight. There has to be a way for me to get this and remember it and understand it and easily see what is attached where. What am I missing?
