Not only can you save pemanently a copy of the the Master Source + Detail but 10 of them! Eg Ignoring the argument as to who the real source for censuses is, I most commonly use Ancestry.co.uk to search the censuses and quote them as my Master Source. In the Source Clip Board I have saved Anc41, Anc51 etc to Anc 01 (1841 to 1901 being the 10 yearly UK censuses). The master source is thus Ancestry.co.uk + their company details and the author being HMG (Her Majesty's Government). The details are the census year and country and one can add the piece number etc if one wants for each individual to the detail (although I don't bother) and I attach a asved copy of the census to the picture. Use "Save" and "Load".

BTW. I have rarely found a use for the 5 Source Tabs at the top of the Clipboard - but there we go!

Can you paste a master + detail to the source clipboard and it stays there?
The detail stays stuck to the master on the source clipboard?
