My comment was not meant as a complaint at all, just informing the OP
that the development is most probably happening on IRC. Like you said
cross-lfs is at a stage where it is not even in the testing branch,
hence the discussions would (and should) take place where it is most
convinient to the current participants.

Though I do expect that once it is decided to migrate to the new
methodology, there would be a discussion on the
advantages/disadvantages of the method as compared to the current
build method.
