Bug ID: 172682
Summary: Entering a number in percent-formatted cell inputs its
real value and display it in percent, instead of its
percentage value (i.e. multiplies it by 100)
Product: LibreOffice
Version: 26.2.4.2 release
Hardware: x86-64 (AMD64)
OS: Linux (All)
Status: UNCONFIRMED
Severity: normal
Priority: medium
Component: Calc
Assignee: [email protected]
Reporter: [email protected]
Description:
Since a recent update (to 26.2.4), if I format a cell to percent (either
through the tool bar shortcut or through right click > format cell > number >
percent), then enter a number in the cell (not in the formula bar), say 2, the
cells displays 200.00% instead of 2.00% as it used to. This also happens with
all cells that are already formatted in percent (in existing spreadsheets).
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open a new spreadsheet
2. Format a given cell to percent
3. Type an integer number in that cell
Actual Results:
The cell displays the real value of the number in percent, i.e. the integer x
100 followed by %.
Expected Results:
The cell should display the integer followed by %, it always has done before.
Reproducible: Always
User Profile Reset: No
