--- Comment #6 from ady <[email protected]> --- (In reply to Gauthier from comment #4) > As indicated in the OP, these are already the steps I followed. Doing it > again exactly as you say: > 1. Start a new Calc spreadsheet. > 2. On cell A1, format it as percentage. > 3. On cell A1, type-in a numeric value of 2 (two), without typing any > additional symbol of any kind, then press [ENTER]. > > What I get in cell A1 is 200.00% and NOT 2%. See the attached spreadsheet. Those were not the only details I posted. The additional paragraphs that mentioned exactly how to obtain either 2% or 200% are very relevant to this ticket. I can use the same spreadsheet that you attached in comment 5 in order to introduce 2% (replacing the initial 200%), and to then re-introduce the same 200% that is seen initially. IOW, that attachment proves nothing. There might be some setting that prevents the automatic addition of the percentage symbol when typing-in the numeric value, and I can think of other circumstances that might generate the problem. Unless you actually fully read and follow the additional details I posted, at this point I can only say that I cannot reproduce the problem. -- You are receiving this mail because: You are the assignee for the bug.
