Please test with a new empty spreadsheet.

1. Start a new Calc spreadsheet.
2. On cell A1, format it as percentage.
3. On cell A1, type-in a numeric value of 2 (two), without typing any
additional symbol of any kind, then press [ENTER].

Please be aware that Calc might automatically add the percentage symbol to the
right side of the value (as in "2%") while you type-in the numeric value, even
before pressing [ENTER]. You should leave that symbol; do not delete it.

Now, if, before you press [ENTER], you delete the percentage symbol that Calc
automatically added to the numeric value, you then might get an unexpected
result, such as "200.00%", instead of "2.00%".

After following these instructions, how does the cell (A1) present the
resulting value? Is "2%" shown? Or is it displayed in any different way?

Please report back.
