Typically, it goes something like this:

1. Stick the HD into the Libretto.
  1a. As needed, install and use a Disk Manager program (if it's an IBM, see
www.hgst.com and search) to see the entire HD size.  
2. Boot from a Windows 98SE boot disk.
3. Fdisk (use support large drive mode), partition, and exit.
4. Reboot.
5. Format c: /u /s
6. Copy Win98/etc setup files to the HD (for faster install, not necessary
however).
7. Run OS setup.

If you're installing Windows 2000/Linux, you can simply startup the installer
and the OS will automatically see the entire HD w/o any further hassles.
