Also, according to http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2002/may/06quicktime.html that argument isn't valid. 100 million QT 5 DLs -- the majority probably *not* to Mac users. The odds of a given PC having at least QT5 on it are pretty damn good. I always find the vapid client objections to QT install on Win to be rather foolish, in light of the fact these same clients are quite happy to DL and install 20+ Mb patches regularly to fix the latest security holes and system bugs. By comparison a single 10-Mb install from a CD (that quite possibly won't even be necessary anyway) is fiddling small change. The "install QT problem" is a myth.
