When a sprite is made nonvisible its behaviors are still active, IIRC, so yeah, if it's sitting atop another sprite you'll have to move it rather than 'disappear' it.I'll just move it offstage, cuz the other bug was that a visible=false text member with hyperlinks in it would interfere with another text member that also had hyperlinks.
