Needless to say I am very pleased with the way RedHat allows
for downloading of the latest and best. That helps the techies to
see what it is and whether it does the job.
There have been a few cases already where I have decided not
to look at an issue with SuSE just because I don't know if the
problem is fixed in their GA or whether they added missing function.

Right now we don't know what type of support we will need with
Linux for S/390, and what type of skills we want to build anyway.
And if we know what type of support we want to buy in, RedHat
have not been able yet to show what they can deliver (specifically
about the S/390 part, I mean). Same applies to SuSE obviously.
I think it will take some time before we learn what we need, and I
like it when people don't force me into a support contract before
we're there.
