Thanks to all that responded.  I am booting the starter system now, once
up, how do I mount my file systems? Please provide command syntax as I am
under the gun. Thanks

This is his best option, I believe.  Keeping those old tapes and VM reader
files laying around can be a lifesaver at times like this.

Can you boot the starter system and then mount the installed disks, chroot
to the installed root and re-run zipl?
