The part about all this that I find disturbing is that Alan and I might

The difference being someone who signs up to the list looking to get or give help, versus
someone who signs up to the list simply to advertise. I disagree slightly with Alan's
comments about only people with a "technical reputation" are given some slack
here. I believe anyone who's been around and actually _participated_ is given some slack.
