On the other hand in the following document in Chapter 5. page 64 under "Attributes for nss" subheading the last paragraph states the same. https://public.dhe.ibm.com/software/dw/linux390/docu/lhs4dd06.pdf Neither of these documents give any explanation or background information and seemingly some other Linux distributions support nss feature so I've got curious too how hard this limitation may be.
