All resources go to swapping???

Come on...we had hundred-users-at-a-time compute-servers serving
out dozens of X-sessions at Purude back in the 1980's with only
256Mb.

A modern PC with even as little as 32-64M for ONE USER should not
have thrashing problems right after boot up

(in comparison, in 1986, we were running 150 SIMULTANEOUS LOGINS on
a 4x30 MHz CPU box (ei.ecn.purdue.edu -- now retired) with a mere 16
Mb of memory.)

Why would you even want to have multiple X sessions on the same monitor

So is LoseDOS.

The difference is, Linux kernals in the Alpha-test stage have more
stability
than COMMERCIALLY RELEASED LoseDOS kernels...even after M$ has issues
SEVERAL service packs....

the OS spin-off will be forced to write quality code...and since APP will
be able to live or die WITHOUT OS (since they *WILL* have a financial
interest, which will make the Board of Directors have a LEGAL OBLIGATION
to seek to profits, and thus to port the APPS to UNIX/Linux).
