Simply noting that your definition of "comfortable" seems to be rather
at-odds
with the rest of the English-speaking people on the planet.

Linux has MORE documentation than ANY other software project out there.

As if egos aren't a factor in closed-source projects????

At least with the open-source solution, those who clash are free to go
their own ways, and push their idea to completion, and let the users
decide which they like better.

Actually, no.

Windows has built in fonts for printing, as well as the screen. When
printing, Windows uses the 'print' fonts... so you still get superior
printouts as well.

LoseDOS can't even take full advantage of established hardware (like SCSI

That's a Windows-only problem.

Linux and Unix libraries are properly versioned.

At least

1) you have the *OPTION* (note, it is *not* a requirement)
and
2) it's FREE (unlike Windows "upgrades" (i.e. replace one set of

"standard" relying upon Microsoft circular-definitions (tm).

Word is standard becuase it's widely-used
it's Widely-used because it's standard.

(actually, it's widely-used because Microsoft is heavily into using
extortion as a marketing technique--just like Al Capone).

ONLY ONCE! (as long as it's not a Microshaft product).

Since you already *HAD* an installed system, there was absolutely ZERO
reason for you to install, other than to satisfy the LoseDOSer's
