Pardon my questions, perhaps they might be a bit redundant but, I'm still
confused with regards to diald under RH6.0 . Basically I have the
following questions. I'm currently running diald 0.16 under RH 5.0 Kernel
2.0.3x

1) Diald can be compiled and run under RH6.0 kernel(s) 2.2.x (Yes/No) ??

2) Which version of Diald should I be downloading and compiling for use
under RH6.0 Ker 2.2.x ?

3) Where can I get it?

4) Do any patches need to be downloaded and applied to it?

5) About this ethertap thing, am I to understand correctly that before I
compile diald under 2.2.x (RH 6.0) I have to compile the kernel source
making sure that I add support for the ethertap?

6) Why can't I just use a SLIP proxy interface like I have under prior
Linux kernels in the past?

7) Will my current installation/configuration of diald run properly under
RH-6.0 via SLIP interface? Or is it mandatory that I download, compile,
and install diald under RH6.0, making certain that ethertap support is
properly compiled into my kernel?

Any helpful answers to my above questions would be quite helpful. Thanks
in advance.

Cho.
