Sorry. I should have included a little more detail. My system is a Hitachi
VisionBook Pro laptop and it currently has my Windows NT drive in since I'm
at work. This system duals as my server for the home...

Mandrake uses RedHat 6.0 as it's base distribution, but adds a bunch of
other things as well as setting up the K-desktop environment with a standard
desktop and filing the menus. http://www.linux-mandrake.com Netdate, or
nettime was an RPM on my Mandrake CD and I thought it was included on my RH
distro, but I'd have to look. If you can't find it check
http://freshmeat.net They'll have it.

FYI, you can download a 550 MB .iso file of the Mandrake distribution to
create a CD from.

Bill
