Sorry to hear that. I've kept my old conf file through several versions but
I was sure there was at the very least a diald.conf sample in the contrib
folder tree (idsn4linux perhaps).
I did double check http://juanjox.kernelnotes.org and while his rpm is
slightly dated 0.99-1 (0.99.1 source is the most recent so 0.99.1-1 would be
expected) he does have 3 rpms with different configuration files sets
(default?, metered and unmetered) which could make configuration much easier
on a new user since you'd only have to verify that the options fit your
setup rather than starting from scratch.
I guess I may have to brush off my dated faq and install guide for the
clueless (namely me) and throw it out for inspection.
