Hello again. Sorry for multi-replying.

Thank you all for your kindness.

Step by step, I'm trying to set up DNS. First, caching-only nameserver,
which is described in DNS-HOWTO, seems to work well with RedHat rpm.
Two easy things is requiered for that.

So much is what I've done today.

Danish,a problem! But for me, English is problem, too. So no problem:-)

`Simpelt hjemmenetvark der anvender opkald med modem eller isdn til
internettet.`means "Simple ???? via modem over isdn to internet" ?
Whatever it means, it's okay. However, I don't understand just one
thing about resolve.conf in that page.

Quotation here:

Would you mind if you transrate into English?

# Then I'll transrate into Japanese :-)

I think it mean that..
When I start ppp in manual(?) mode, ifup script should contain `ln -sf
resolve.conf.pppON` which contains my ISP's dns address, so that my
Linux box's DNS can talk with ISP's DNS while link is up...
and ifdown `ln -s xxxx.pppOFF` back again my Linux box's address..

Is that right?

These must be the articles you mentioned. Very helpful!

Laser5 Linux is a japanized edition of RedHat ,and they says it's 99%
compatible:-)

Thanks. I'll report the results later.
