It all comes down to the XF86Config file - autoprobe for 3.3.x never
seems
to work for Media GX, probably never will...

The Elo driver comes with X 3.3.5 or higher...

Yep...got it ...with our own board:
hardware: 32MB Flash card / Media GX / 5530 / Elo COACH controller
software: Netscape/Citrix/Fvwm95/X
