I haven't tried 640x480...However the mode lines should be in there. I think
you have to add (at the bottom of the XF86Config file):

Section "Screen"
   ...
    Modes  "680x400" "800x600" "1024x768"
   ...

I guess just stuff this in every Screen section.

BTW, I've heard good stuff about zfmicro support, but I would guess this board
is on the end-of-life list(the 233/266 and even now the 300MHz GX chips are
available).
