That is true. And the errors identified by looking at what X
windows is having trouble with are no help at all to me. The fix it would
seem for people not equiped to re-write X windows and ax25-utils is sit
back and wait for a new Red Hat or Debian using the new kernel.

Yes I gziped it and read it. Nothing much was changed. But some
things were...grasping at straws.
It's quite possible that I mis-configured the kernel too. But it
looks like if YOU have ax25 but not Netrom running I will relax and enjoy
my 2.0.36 kernel that even lets Netrom work...:-)
