This is quite irrelevant. The "[EMAIL PROTECTED]" address was created as an alias because it was more memorable. Just like I run a mailing list called [EMAIL PROTECTED], but it actually runs on a server in the Technion, and once ran on a server in Netvision. The way I remember it is that one day someone bought the cool "linux.org.il" domain, and then people asked to have an alias for the mailing list on that domain. It never had anything to do with the list being actually ran from this "linux.org.il" server (which never had an independent existance, as far as I know). > > > 1. The alias was removed from iglu, or 2. The mail is forwarded to huji and dropped there. Since people said that mail did not bounce, I assumed it can't be option #1, so it must be #2. Another reason to think that it's #2 was that the cancellation of the @iglu and @linux aliases was an immediate action, announced by you (Huji), which most likely meant you blocked this mail on your server, rather than modified the aliases on iglu's servers (which you had no immediate access too).
