There's an option in the kernel configuration menus to have 'non-standard'
serial port support, which can be ports at other addresses.  I had a quick
look at it once and had what could be charitably described as mixed results
so YMMV as they say.  There's always a problem with not having a separate
interrupt for each port, that's just designed into the PC and there's not
much you can do about it but use only some of the ports.
