That is probably your problem. I have seen Prodigy a couple of times and it
seems that they use their own dialer. There is a good chance that they even
use their own authentication protocol. Unless you have time to pipe the data
from Win98 box thru the Linux box and capture and analyze all the requests
it's sending to the line, there is a good chance you will never connect to
Prodigy from Linux. It's kinda like trying to connect to AOL from Linux --
bad idea. If I were you, I'd look for some other ISP. Thanks God that there
is a bunch of them now.
