Cristian,

Sure, I have heard of people doing this, as long as you are running the same
version of Netscape under both OS's. First you would need to mount the vfat
(FAT-32) drive somewhere in you filesystem.

After you have mounted up your drive, start Netscape, click on 'edit', click
on 'preferences, click on 'mail & newsgroups', click on 'mail servers' down
at the bottom there will be a "local mail file" click 'browse' and point the
local mail file to your vfat drive where Windows XX stores the Netscape mail
folder.

If you are not sure where Windows Netscape stores you email, go into
Windows, load Netscape, click on 'edit' click on 'preferences' click on
'mail & newsgroups' click on 'mail servers' down at the bottom will be
"local mail file", write it down on a post it and reboot into Linux.

That is the first way, the second way you could do this is mount your
Windows drive on your Linux filesystem, find your Windows Netscape mail file
and then cat it and appened it to your Linux Netscape mail file..

example:
cat /vfat/progra~1/Netscape/users/bud/mail >> /home/bud/Mail/inbox

A word of warning, make sure you backup both your Linux Netscape and Windows
XX Netscape files before you try either one of these methods. Always use at
your own risk.

Jack
