        YES, this is just exactly what one can do .  That is the power
        of our (all bow to linus) operating system .  One -can- modify
        it to get what one wants .  Which is the point I was trying to
        make .  If 'I' want a particular feature or behaviour with 
        linux I -can- .  There is no, "I cant't"  .
