I've got a Micronics M54pe board, with 2 Pentium 100s.  I know, not that
hot a board. But it ran UnixWare successfully for several years, until
I got fed up with UW. I installed RH6.0 recently, and the installation
didn't automatically install the SMP kernel--which is why I waited for
6.0 in the first place. I read R. Hyatt's postings yesterday, and
realize that I need to modify lilo.conf. Here's my *existing*
lilo.conf:

boot=/dev/hda
map=/boot/map
install=/boot/boot.b
prompt
timeout=50
image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.5-15
        label=linux
        root=/dev/hda5
        initrd=/boot/initrd-2.2.5-15.img
        read-only

I think I need to change the image line to read

image=/boot/vmlinuz-2.2.5-15smp

but what's that initrd line? I can't find any documentation for it.

By the way, the system boots from a 1.5GB IDE disk, but has 3 4.5GB SCSI
disks and a 1GB SCSI disk too. When the system boots, it does say
"Second Processor Initialized."

Thanks for your help,
Ivan
