Now that really sucks.  Are there any development drivers out there, or 
any workarounds I can use?  I just bought this reader, and I can't 
really afford to buy another (would probably go for a pcmcia solution in 
that case though).

I read on Sandisk's page that it *is* supported, just like you said. 
Are there plans to implement support any time soon?
