Hi

I'm using a Webcam II with RedHat 6.2 and kernel versions 2.3.99-pre7-6.
This error has been happening since the new CPiA was incorporated.

The camera operates for a short while (ranging from a few seconds to a
minute or two) with some pixel corruptions and then freezes. Generally I
can cancel and restart the task (webcam in xawtv), but sometimes the only
way to regain the device is to unplug the hub (USB Bay 3 USB + 1 Parallel +
1 Serial).

The log shows the following messages

May 9 08:57:22 mail kernel: cpia.c:parse_picture(1946):EOL not found
giving up after 141/4649 bytes
May 9 08:59:34 mail kernel: cpia.c:parse_picture(1946):EOL not found

Let me know if you need any further info.

Someone once said that xawtv wasn't the best application to use. Can anyone
point me to something better for publishing a dynamic image on a web page.

TIA
