One thing which I think is important is to make sure we test as many
devices as we can on non-Intel platforms.

This may sound silly, but if we could find a specific set of people who
would like to volunteer to test -- that is, specific people who would,
every time a new patch comes out, test the code -- we might set up a
second mailing list for just that work.

At least, I think it would be helpful to have a mailing list devoted to
reports from a specific set of people (who are all knowledgable about how
to capture logs, send useful reports, etc) who have a specific set of
devices/platorms. It's much easier to track down bugs when the bug
reports are good -- that's one thing which I find myself continually
asking/telling people who send me a report.

Just a thought.

I see you've been reading alt.sex.chubby.sheep voraciously.
