for what it's worth, I'm running 2.2.15 with the USB backport
(usb-2.3.99-pre7-1-for-2.2.14.diff) and my printer works nicely.
Live's better in color and faster with USB :-) 

Also, my ZIP drive appears to work (no extensive tests yet).

I've been using them for a while, it works very well.  Highly
recommended and easy to install (even on my debian system...).
Anybody knows why there are not yet in the main gv/gs dists?
