I wasn't aware of any motherboards that REQUIRE dual channel memory - its generally an option that is automatically enabled when identical sticks are placed in the appropriate slots. What make and model motherboard is this? I am aware of some older memory types (72 pin SIMMS and RDRAM) that have to be installed in pairs, but thats not really 'dual channel'.
