On the other hand, as they both upgraded to xorg-7.x, Fedora did it
right. Ubuntu didn't, and is more or less ignoring the problem till
their next release.
So, if you have an ATI or Matrox card, don't grab Ubuntu right now.
The same might go for nvidia, I'm not sure--check bugs.ubuntu.com for
your card and see if it was fixed.
What makes it worse is that it's a known problem, with known fixes, but
various threads say, "Well, we're concentrating on the upgrade to
xorg-7.2 right now, sorry."
