I still think it's not so useful to make any comparison between G00 and any of the UC/AU series yet. So far G00 has managed to remain unpredictable, and collectively we have seen everything Gundam many times over. It may change, pretty soon even, but so far any comparison is marginal. > Think I commented before on this - part of CB plan seems to revolve around > making the world > "unite" - what to do with it afterward is all up to speculation. That much's been said by several CB leadership characters before. But Lockon saying that line at that point says a couple things: Uniting the world isn't an end to itself, it's only Phase I. The GMs themselves are aware of this same point. GM's terminology of Phase I, II etc might be the same as Corners', who said he's on to Phase III (presumably Phase III involves handing GN tech to the Big 3), but only that GMs didn't know about Big 3 getting GN drive yet in that scene. But presumbly the GMs still doesn't know enough details and progession of the master plan to know about TMs, fake GN drives and giving GN drives to Big 3. > I hope not, as it seems "too perfect" - every Meister has a counterpart, but > all of them seems to > be from different fractions, so it seems like it's the show creator's > intention, but doubt it's part of > CB's plan. No question it's unlandish on my part. But it might be a slightly arrogant MO on CB's part. It's not enough to defeat the Big 3, but to make them repent their own sins. So AEU's employment of Ali will be punished by one of his pupils, HRL's creation of Super Solider will be punished by one of the super soldiers. > Surprising - I thought I was on people's ignore list :( Maybe you spoil just a tad too much. You have something against rich people? ;) > I thought Veda is basically the "archive" of CB - it has basically > everything CB has done or will > do... Not just an archive, but the master _MIND_. Except for a few minor sorties that individual GMs took on, the one person/thing assigned with the greatest decision responsibilities is Veda. Sumeragi is only a field/tactical commander. Corners, at least so far, is relatively true to his words that he's an observer not an actor. Wang is seemingly in the intel branch. The GMs took order from Veda (via Sumeragi for implementation/refinements) and TMs also took order. WHO or WHAT decided to target Eifman, for example? Quite likely Veda itself. -- Dr. Core -------------------------------------------------- The Gundam Mailing List MK-II [email protected] Archives: http://www.gundam.com/gml Help: Email [EMAIL PROTECTED] with this in the BODY: help list
