Thanks for responding, and changing the alias per others request :)

Not a problem, and hopefully the community won't let it remain that way.

Others maintaining it would be ideal. Though thats the idea with the
wiki, and hasn't really been the case.

I don't see it as a detraction either, just another thing to maintain
and keep in sync with the wiki and mailing list. Like with regard to
meetings, and when we meet.

Really only an issue if unruly folks show, but much more admin time for
a mailing list, wiki, or even a Facebook/Google+/etc account, in a sense
than a IRC channel. But there is a IRC channel now, in case you missed
that or anyone else did :)

No I got it, but I had no idea what it was regarding. On my end it just
looked like another invite from someone on Facebook. Which I was getting
quite a many for a while. I had no idea it was regarding the JaxLUG
having a presence on Facebook.

Facebook also did weird stuff with linking those invites, my email
address, and my IP address that had not changed in a while. I was seeing
a gal at one point who never used my email address, only saw it on a
business card. She logged into facebook one day on a machine at my
residence. All the sudden all people that had ever invited me to
Facebook up to that point in time, including Art Wildman, showed up as
friend requesting her. The others got the same request from her, an it
was very creepy. I had to explain to some people who she was an vice
versa. When I saw Art Wildman from the JaxLUG had friend requested her
on Facebook, I was like what the heck is going on this is crazy :)

Not sure what the deal with those Facebook invites were, but how the
information was linked, and then used I did not like one bit. That
machine had a fresh browser cache, using a guest system profile, cleaned
per user, etc. I had never used it, much less checked email on that
machine, or anything. Thus I can't see how it could be anything beyond
IP linkage. Since I did click on links in the invite emails to stop
receiving them. Launching a browser on my machine, giving out my IP.

Don't have one man, I am not cool enough. Or can be seen as a
non-conformist. Which ever you prefer :)

Really I have enough to maintain. Nothing against a Facebook, Google+,
or other stuff for the JaxLUG. But its up to the JaxLUG, not just me to
maintain these things. Right now I have quite enough stuff to do, and
thus far most times doing things because others are not.
