No way William!  I yell that with a grin.  :)  I doubt many students in our 
universities now even have a clue as to what a "user's group" is.  I venture 
the response will be "Don’t you mean a meetup, or friend's list, or followers?"

Would not the JaxLUG have some responsibility in that expansion?

Yeah, mailing lists and IRC channels should take care of that.

Having flashbacks to the hobbyist versus corporate debate we had here a while 
back that I didn't partake in.  Cool or not cool, it is a necessity and 
infiltrated in our everyday lives (think Facebook is running in Winblows?).
