HI- Well, I went to the Scholastic website (www.scholastic.com) and showed them
the "book trailer" on the smartboard that scholastic provides (Skeleton Creek
by Patrick Carman)... it got them intrigued... we read 2x week during advisory
(school wide program- each grade level has a different book) and every 20-30
pages the book directs you to a website where you enter in the "password" and
play a video -- all the clues/passwords so far have been Poe references. You
have to be careful as Scholastic is releasing the second book in the series
this month, you want to get the correct book trailer to show... but if you are
just looking for yourself, you can view any of them... I am searching for
other books that have been written in this interactive way-- our digital
students eat this up! LOL
