Hi,

I just finished reading Born to Fly by Michael Ferrari to my class of 6th
graders. They LOVED it! It's an action-adventure with a female protagonist
(appealed to both girls and boys). Takes place during WWII in Rhode
Island. Involves spies, a factory that is blown up, growing up, bullies,
airplanes.....just a lot of fun and a great read.
