Hi!

I've had kids in my class want to read aloud, and I'll tell them something
similar - if they want to practice ahead, we can talk, but I won't let
them just do a cold reading. As someone who used to have to focus so hard
on reading fluently aloud in class that I didn't take in any meaning at
all, I want to avoid having that happen to my students (or was that just
me? hmnmm).
