Bella, I have to strongly disagree with your statement, "never know 
when your unit is not functioning properly."

That's sort of like saying the same thing about your interior lights. 
Lectra/Sans have all kinds of indicators. I've used them for years 
with only one problem. Our current one suddenly started needing 3 
times the salt (we're in brackish water). Long story short I ordered 
a new electrode and while installing it found a bad connection. $300 
down the toilet so to speak.

Lectra/Sans actually clean the water you're floating upon.

The group that got the keys declared a NDZ admitted they knew it 
wasn't a problem, that the reason they did it was to gain publicity.
