Municipal plants are given limits on parameters. Most ocean discharges have
30 mg/l BOD amd 30 mg/l Suspended Solids. Others dischareing into more
sensative waters (think Chesapeake Bay)have more stringent requirements
including nutrient removal. They could be BOD 10, SS 10 with a total
nitrogen of <8 mg/l. Fecal coliform could be anywhere from 0 to 15/100 ml.

Ask yourself - what happens to what you pump out?  It goes into the
municipal system and if you are lucky they treat it for pathogens.  Any
reduction of BOD??

The rules against Lextrasans are just not scientifically supportable.  All
the buzz words in the world won't make it true.
