BTDT = Been There, Done That. sorry I thought that one was fairly common.. oops... yeah it would be trouble free... however.. when one is working on a tight budget one considers as good and if its cheaper that alternative.. I still have to buy and install an engine.. I live on a trust.. money is not a lot,but I get buy.. I save for most things.. then do it.. and do most of it myself... so after considering the alternatives... i am left with glassing..
I have a company that will come in and clean the tank for me with thier fancy process.. its not cheap.. but I would have had to have something done in any case.. the tank has sat, with whatever is in it.. old gas... since at least 2004. So there I am looking at around $300 to have that done.. Again... the decided on plan, after looking at this everywhich way from sunday.. for the past two yrs is to glass.. so what do I do... or rather..how do I do it.. and Yes.. I plan on using West products.. am still waiting for the guy from MAS to call me back from last december.. apparently if you don't own a fancy sailing mag you are not squat and not worth returning phone calls.. I left two messages.. so West gets my business... I think, monday I will give them a call..
