Has anyone tried out these:

LED strip lighting with AC adapter:
   http://www.ikea.com/us/en/catalog/products/50119407
$50 for 4 strips.

I read somewhere that the lights are 12v - you can snip off the cable
to the adapter and wire them to your lighting circuit.
