Just a couple of comments on this electrical theme.

In Ontario, where I spend my summers working on my trawler (mandatory boat
tie in), if I were to build a wind generator, Ontario Hydro will buy the
power from me at .35/KwHr and then resell at .07/KwHr. Yes, that is at a
loss, but that is what it costs to generate power using the current wind
technology. This way, Ontario Hydro can advertize that they are investing in
a reusable energy generating system.

Finally, I am not running down any alternate energy source, but I want to
make the point that at our current technologic level most of the alternive
methods are not efficient enough to be cost effective.

Rob,

You are correct. What many, do not, cannot, understand is that SOMEONE as in
an INDIVIDUAL(S) is paying that difference.

NO company can give away anything, only PEOPLE can give away anything. If a
company gives you something that company is TAKING IT FROM SOMEONE ELSE.
